The room maybe worth the price but the hidden fees make it difficult to comparison shop with competitors that include travel necessities of parking and WIFI for free. Their booking price does not include parking for your car or Internet access for your laptop. June 2009 I booked an attractive price (Winter Sale in June) of about $* for a Deluxe Room with 1 King Bed Non Smoking. Total was $* with taxes and fees. I could have had a room at my usual SFO hotel for about $20 less, but though the price difference was worth it for the 5 Star experience. Well, my usual SFO motel includes free parking and WIFI, NOT so at the Sheraton Gateway SFO, parking is $18 per day and the WIFI is $12, so the real comparable amenities package price is closer to $170 for this room. The room maybe worth the price but the hidden fees make it difficult to comparison shop when competitors include these travel necessities for free.

The hotel was a bit disappointing. It was slightly worn for the price and the front desk help was limited--and not particularyl helpful. The bed, however, was very comfortable and the shuttle to the airport was very convenient.

I have stayed at the Gateway many times over the last 5 yrs. They are now charging for parking $18/day. Most Hotels in the Airport area are doing this now! I was disappointed to find that they no longer have microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. You now have to request and are charged for them!!! Complimentary coffee ( Starbucks) is provided each morning until 9:30AM. The staff is very nice and friendly, although the command of English is limited. Beds are very comfortable, better than most hotel of this star rating and above. Fitness room is clean and well manitained. No direct access from the parking garage to the hotel lobby. It's windy there.

The hotel in general was very nice. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. On the other hand, I did not like that we had to pay 18 dollars a night for parking. Must be why the hotel fee was so reasonable, the parking fee makes up for it.

This hotel is a great hotel. It is close to the airport and has easy access to the city. The rooms are nice with confortable beds. The hotel also has a heated pool and hot tub. The pool area is nice. The lobby area is nice. This hotel also has a restaurant on site. The employees at this are friendly.
